Clayton Willms

Leary Integrated Arts & Technology

Technology Coach – Chilliwack School District #33

I am an elementary school teacher in the Chilliwack School District and have enjoyed integrating technology into my classroom for the last two decades. I find that, not only does it help to create buy-in from my students, but also that it fosters critical thinking, planning, testing, and collaboration. I am excited to be a technology coach and look forward to helping you build capacity and learn new ways to present the curriculum to your students.

Here are a few key areas where I can help:

  • Using Minecraft: Education Edition for projects or lessons. MEE is a version of the famous video game that has curriculum and teacher tools built in. It is pre-installed on every district computer and provides opportunities for students to explore new concepts, collaborate, and creatively demonstrate their learning.
  • Let’s Get Coding - Learning to build and test simple code is an excellent way to develop skills in mathematics, logic, and collaboration. It is also immensely creative. There are many free resources that can help your students learn to code through fun and engaging tutorials and projects.
  • Other? - Is there tech at your school that is collecting dust? Not sure how to implement it? Let me know!

Scott Gregory

Stitó:s Lá:lém Totí:lt Elementary / Middle School

Technology Coach – Chilliwack School District #33

As an elementary teacher and technology coach in the Chilliwack School District, I’m passionate about using technology to make teaching more efficient, engaging, and fun. My goal is to support teachers by helping them integrate practical, classroom-ready tools that enhance both learning and teaching.

Here are a few key areas where I can help:

  • Using AI in the Classroom: Explore how tools like ChatGPT can help streamline report card writing, lesson planning, and communication – all while maintaining ethical classroom practices. I can also share creative ways to introduce elementary students to AI in an age-appropriate way.
  • Technology for Reading & Math Stations: Discover high-quality apps and websites that keep students engaged during small-group instruction and help reinforce literacy and numeracy skills.
  • EVERFI Digital Learning: Learn how to use EVERFI’s free online platform to bring interactive lessons on digital citizenship, financial literacy, mental wellness, career readiness, and more into your classroom.
  • Comic Life Projects: Engage your students through storytelling and design! Comic Life is an easy, fun tool that can help meet several curricular competencies while encouraging creativity and collaboration.

Ways We Can Collaborate

Using Technology for Asynchronous Learning

Looking to create flexible, self-paced learning experiences? I can help you design engaging, accessible activities that allow students to learn at their own pace. I bring extensive experience with blended learning models, particularly using Moodle to enhance face-to-face instruction.

Technology for Mastery Learning

Do your students need to demonstrate proficiency before moving on to the next skill?

If you teach in areas where students have a wide range of prior knowledge, we can explore tools that support mastery learning — ensuring full understanding of each concept before advancing, with personalized feedback and support built in.

Integrating Interactive Tech Tools

Want to bring more interactivity into your classroom? Let’s explore options such as online lab simulations, gamified content, and collaborative digital tools. Together, we can design innovative approaches for lessons, inquiry projects, course delivery, and assessment.
